Hi! I'm so glad you're here. 

My aim, as an author, as a person, is to leave the world a better place. Whether that's volunteering as a dog walker, accompanying 8 pre-teens on a field trip, planning an-across-the-world adventure with my family, or simply picking up some garbage on a walk. 

I'm definitely a glass-half-full kind of gal. When I'm in an embarrassing  / disastrous / ridicious situation - how can I find the fun or the humour in it or the positive or the good? Writing helps! Whether it's writing from the perspective of a Chicken who is desperate to go on adventures, or a carnivorous plant, or a robot, or a mostly-good AI. And of course people. 

My background? I spent a lot of years in school. A lot. But I also love to act, improvise, bake, backpack, travel, eat, draw, play games. I love science and engineering but I also love to eat ice cream. I'm a complex person, like all of us out there. And some days I need a laugh. I hope I can give you that, or at least a smile with my writing.
